June 1 & 2, 2018
  • The Lanny Franklin Bluegrass Festival started out as a backyard barbecue and jam session for family and friends during the Morgan County Sorghum Festival.

Word spread and over the years the crowd grew as people came to enjoy the music and a good pork sandwich.

Eventually the gathering grew so big it had to be moved away from the Franklin's back yard.
